Burlap Studio is a boutique media studio that provides film and motion capture services. Motion capture is cutting-edge technology that allows a person's real movement to be captured digitally and turned into an avatar. The public is invited to participate in free motion capturing sessions every weekend that will help to build a motion library. DVDs of individual sessions can be purchased for $20. The studio also offers custom Super 8 vintage wedding films and video projects. Drop-in consultations for custom film work are available on Sundays from 3-8pm. In addition, the studio displays a rotating gallery of work from local artists. The gallery currently features works on paper by painter Anna Slovich and photographer Jean-Jacques Bernard.
